I am a strong believer in individualized learning. Every student has the ability to learn, however, not all approaches work with every student. As a teacher for more than 30 years, I have felt the immense gratification and fulfillment that comes from seeing a student light up when they finally understand a difficult concept. This process takes time and effort, as well as patience from the teacher and the student, but it all becomes worthwhile once the desired learning outcome is achieved. The subjects I specialize in are: Special Education, Reading, Phonics, Elementary Math, and English. As an undergraduate, I attended the California University of Pennsylvania, and currently reside in West Newton, PA. In my free time, I enjoy watching and coaching sports.
